Living in the Yukon means we have some of the most incredible landscapes right outside our doors. Wild mountains, quiet lakes, golden meadows, endless forests, and beaches where little feet can run free. And I love making these places part of your family's story. Maybe we'll explore a hidden lakeshore near Haines Junction, wander through a meadow outside Whitehorse, or spend a beautiful evening surrounded by the mountains of Kluane. There is no need to perform for my camera. Your kids can run, explore, climb, throw rocks into the water, or cuddle up in your arms when they need a little break. I'll gently guide you when needed, play with the beautiful natural light, and look for those fleeting moments that feel like you. Think of it less as a photo session and more as a little family adventure.
Your Children Don't Need to Behave Perfectly
As a mama myself, I know that children don't always follow a plan. And that's absolutely fine. Some kids need time to warm up. Some are wild from the very first minute. Others want to stay close to their parents. I welcome all of it. There is no pressure to smile, no constant asking to look at the camera, and definitely no expectation that your children will sit still for an hour. I want them to be themselves. Because one day, you might miss those muddy knees, that cheeky little grin, and the way they used to throw themselves into your arms.
